Place funnel in port.
Fill with odor control product to bottom of cap lock fill port.
Remove funnel.
Replace cam lock fill cap on evaporator.
The unit uses 0.00833 gallons per hour per horsepower.
6. Filling requirements
Reservoir capacity in evaporator
HLDA75/100 = 6.6 gal
HLDA300/500/750 = 16.8 gal
HLDA1000/1500 = 24.1 gal
7. Capacity Control
The evaporator is controlled by a valve located on the top of the evaporator.
The valve allows a portion of the air to bypass the evaporator. The
remaining portion of air goes through the evaporator, evaporating the
odor control product and mixes back with the bypass air.
TURN OFF UNIT FIRST. DO NOT SERVICE UNTIL THE BLOWER HAS COMPLETELY
STOPPED.
Use personal protection equipment: gloves, eye protection, etc.
8. Trouble Shooting
This is a guide to resolve operating problems with the system in general.
Problems related to the electrical control panel or generative blower
should be resolved by consulting manuals for these components.
• Low Odor Control Efficiency
If the system is not providing adequate odor control, check the following:
A. Close the control valve to insure all the air is diverted through
the evaporator.
B. The evaporator runs out of chemical product. Fill the sump with fresh
product.
C. The odor control source is beyond the capability of the neutralizer
technology, maximum of 15 ppm.
D. The air filter is clogged and should be replaced.
E. The evaporator sump residual sludge is over 1 inch deep. Remove
the evaporator and wash sludge out with water.
• Low Air Flow
If there is no air coming out of the end hose orifice, the following
should be checked:
A. The air filter is clogged and should be replaced.
B. The blower is not performing to specification. Check the Blower Operating
and Maintenance Manual and motor amps.
C. There is a restriction or break in the hose and should be repaired.
• High Air Pressure
A. There is a restriction in the air hose.
B. The blower is not performing to specification. Check the blower amps
and Operating and Maintenance Manual.
